Work Environment\n

This position is a full-time remote role, allowing for a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Daily working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend availability required based on client needs. You will have the flexibility needed to manage your schedule and ensure ongoing support for our clients. Success in this role may also involve being on-call during off-hours to address urgent client situations or provide necessary support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, evaluating emotional, mental, and social factors that impact their health and well-being.

• Formulate personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring that individual goals and preferences are met.

• Provide counseling services and emotional support aimed at assisting seniors as they navigate life transitions and challenges during their detox journey.

• Advocate for clients' rights and access to essential community resources, ensuring they receive comprehensive support and services appropriate for their circumstances.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams that include nurses, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination and improved client outcomes.

• Carry out regular check-ins with clients to monitor their overall well-being, assess living conditions, and address any safety or health concerns.

• Facilitate effective communication among family members involved in the care of senior clients to resolve conflicts and improve care dynamics.

• Educate clients and their families on available community resources, support groups, and programs that can enhance social engagement and improve quality of life.

• Maintain accurate records of client assessments, care plans, progress notes, and interactions to ensure the highest level of care and compliance with ethical standards.

• Continuously update knowledge on current social work practices, policies, and regulations affecting the field, ensuring adherence to the highest ethical standards.

The primary focus of this role is working with seniors and clients in a detox setting, addressing their complex emotional and psychological needs during a vulnerable transition in their lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, particularly in settings that cater to older adults or within the substance abuse treatment spectrum.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
