Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and engage in psychotherapy with clients from diverse backgrounds who are undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use and related mental health issues.

• Employ a range of psychological assessments and tools to accurately diagnose client conditions and tailor interventions accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client, considering their unique circumstances.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessments and emergency hospitalizations where necessary, ensuring immediate support is available for clients in acute distress.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
\n
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and state requirements.

• Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures that enhance service delivery and ensure high standards of care.

• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training programs to hone your skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

You will primarily work with adults seeking detoxification from substance use and those with co-occurring mental health disorders. This population often faces unique challenges, including high levels of distress and trauma. Your expertise and empathetic approach will play a critical role in their recovery process, as you provide the care and support they need during a pivotal time in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current LCSW license in the state of Colorado.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex emotional concepts to clients and colleagues alike.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills to engage clients meaningfully.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health, addiction, or medical setting.

• Experience working in a detoxification or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
