Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW at Care Free Healthcare Center, you will take on a range of critical responsibilities aimed at promoting mental health and well-being among your clients. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of clients to understand their unique mental health challenges and developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based modalities.

• Employing various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client needs. For example, you may guide a client through cognitive restructuring to challenge negative thought patterns.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that records are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect the progress of treatment plans.

• Collaborating with an input-rich treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to patient treatment.

• Participating in continuous education and professional development by attending case consultations and peer reviews to enhance service quality and therapeutic outcomes.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families, facilitating greater understanding of mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to foster holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your ability to engage empathetically and effectively with individuals from all walks of life will be crucial in supporting their recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• At least two (2) years of clinical experience providing social work services post-licensure.
