Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your specialist knowledge will be brought to bear in designing and implementing educational plans, collaborating with support teams, and cultivating an inclusive atmosphere for learners at every stage—from early childhood through upper grades.

What You Bring:

• Active and valid teaching license
• Experience or coursework in special education
• Comfort and skill engaging with students ranging from early childhood through high school (grades K-12)
• Strong communication abilities to interact with students, staff, and families
• Dedication to fostering equitable and accessible learning environments
• Ability to develop and modify IEPs, track progress, and adjust plans as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and adapt instructional strategies for students with varying abilities and needs
• Support academic, behavioral, and social development in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement IEPs; participate in meetings and maintain documentation
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
• Advocate for students and promote differentiated learning opportunities
