Staff Accountant

One of our Bioscience clients is seeking an Associate Staff Accountant - AR to join their Accounting team. This individual will be responsible for owning key accounts receivable processes including invoicing, cash application, account reconciliations, collections, and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. Job Responsibilities:
- Process daily customer invoicing batches, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Apply and reconcile customer payments, including ACH and wire transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable records and balances.
- Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies.
- Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to support collections efforts.
- Prepare month-end account reconciliations, including allowance for doubtful accounts.
- Generate and distribute daily sales reports to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain vendor records within the ERP system while adhering to internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy across AR operations.

Pay Rate: $35/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
- 4+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience using Syspro ERP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
- Background in accounts receivable, cash applications, and collections.
