About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of Revenue Cycle to lead and optimize billing operations within its hospice division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle, including authorizations, billing, and collections, with a focus on maximizing financial performance. This strategic leadership role involves driving policies, managing staff, and ensuring the timely and accurate submission of claims across various payers. The role also requires close collaboration with finance, operations, and other departments to streamline workflows and enhance revenue cycle efficiency in support of the organization's financial goals. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of Revenue Cycle position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field and at least 5-6 years' of medical reimbursement experience in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership skills, knowledge of medical necessity rules, and experience with federal, state, and HIPAA privacy regulations are essential. The role demands a proven track record in process improvement, problem-solving, and strategic planning within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in integrated systems and have excellent collaboration, communication, and professional discretion. A CPA license is a preferred qualification. The position is pivotal in driving the financial performance and success of the organization, and the candidate should be prepared to mentor and manage a team, as well as participate in special initiatives as needed.
