Description


The Billing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the invoicing and billing process for all customers. Your duties will include verifying all details pertaining to warehouse, TL and LTL orders, and communicating with customers to obtain approval of additional charges, changes, etc. prior to final calculation of bill totals.

Responsibilities

• Assume the responsibility of processing all daily bills ready for invoicing.
• Verify correct customer bill rating for accurate bill totals.
• Verify pieces, weight, handling, fuel surcharges, etc.
• Process and post bills, and export to GP daily.
• Check daily and weekly FSC charts for accurate customer charges.
• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients.

Hourly Rate: $23- $25

Position Requirements


Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience as Billing Specialist.
• Adherence to laws and best practices regarding dealing with customers and data.
• Comfortable with numbers and the processing of financial information.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and willingness to learn new billing related software applications as they become available.
• Proficiency in English
• Results-driven and patient.
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.
