Accounting Clerk (Temp to Hire)


We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bedford, OH. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term growth. If you have strong data entry skills and a foundation in accounting, we'd love to hear from you!


Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Shift Options: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible within reason)
• Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Enter weekly invoices accurately into the Accounts Payable system
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Prepare weekly vendor payments
• Assist with weekly audits of store locations
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Support accounting team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred, or 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Experience with accounting systems (MS Dynamics or Great Plains a plus)
• 10-key and high-volume data entry experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check.
