Schedule & Availability Requirements

This is a rotating first-shift position. Please review the schedule carefully before applying.

• Weekday shifts: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Rotating schedule: Workdays may change every two weeks.
• Availability: Must be available to work any day of the week, depending on scheduling needs.
• Holidays: Must be available to work two holidays per year.

Candidates must be comfortable with the rotating schedule, including alternating weekends and required holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Fill prescriptions and assist with IV preparation under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter prescription and billing information into the pharmacy computer system to support accurate processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with pharmacy procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Prepare prescriptions for final pharmacist review and assist with packaging after pharmacist approval.
• Help coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery.
• Receive, organize, and rotate incoming medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain inventory records, including medication lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy work environment.
• Help ensure pharmacy equipment is clean, safe, and properly calibrated.
• Follow established procedures and quality standards to support accurate medication handling.

Qualifications

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Experience in prescription processing, medication packaging, or IV preparation is beneficial.
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and billing data entry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication accuracy.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work under pharmacist supervision.
• Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating days, every other weekend, and two holidays per year.
