Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Our facility is designed to promote healing and rehabilitation, equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and a comfortable setting for our patients. Our work schedule consists of Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and tailor treatment plans based on individual needs, including reviewing medical history and performing specific assessments.

• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting for optimal care outcomes.

• Implement targeted treatment protocols, adapting them as necessary based on patient progress and shifts in their health status.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and document any changes in patient condition that may affect their rehabilitation plan.

• Manage discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care, providing comprehensive documentation of each patient's journey through the recovery process.

• Maintain productivity levels, effectively managing time and scheduling appointments while actively participating in marketing activities to promote service access.

• Participate in departmental goal-setting initiatives and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.

• Engage in ongoing education and training, serving as a clinical instructor for students as part of the commitment to professional development.

• Uphold exceptional customer service standards, ensuring positive experiences for all patients visiting our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or managing chronic conditions. Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with unique needs that require tailored therapeutic approaches. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience in a physical therapy setting is not mandatory, any relevant internships or clinical rotations will be beneficial.
