Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the mental health needs of clients, ensuring appropriate crisis management protocols are in place.

• Document clinical evaluations and treatment progress in a timely manner, adhering to state regulatory standards and ensuring compliance with the guidelines set forth by licensing bodies.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as determined by the clinical team, to effectively monitor client progress and inform treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, aiming to enhance client autonomy and improve community integration.

• Actively engage in the accreditation processes and maintain awareness of relevant licensing requirements and organizational policies.

• Serve as a liaison with state agencies and community partners, advocating for clients’ needs and ensuring access to comprehensive services.

• Establish and nurture relationships with local and state organizations to expand resource networks and potential collaborative opportunities.
\n
• Engage in personal and professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and local meetings to stay informed about best practices in mental health.

• Advocate for the agency’s mission and values, working in alignment with our commitment to providing quality mental health care to every individual.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, maintaining flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Alvita, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds, including those seeking recovery from substance-related behaviors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your ability to provide empathetic, culturally competent care will be essential to improving their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• A valid and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Washington State is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred, candidates with strong communication skills, a dedication to teamwork, and a passion for mental health advocacy will be strongly considered even with varied professional experiences.
