Heartline Staffing is recruiting a CNC Turret/Laser Operator for an onsite manufacturing opportunity in Carol Stream, Illinois. This hands-on position is responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC metal-fabrication equipment, including an Amada AE2510NT punch press and related machinery.

The CNC Turret/Laser Operator will fabricate parts to specification, interpret blueprints and schematics, collaborate with engineering and maintain the precision, quality and equipment performance required in a production environment.

COMPENSATION
• $61,000-$70,000
• Pay rate may be higher based on experience within the stated compensation range

CNC PROGRAMMING, SETUP & OPERATION
• Program, set up and operate CNC metal-fabrication equipment
• Operate turret press equipment to produce parts with precision and accuracy
• Utilize CNC equipment to fabricate stampings according to specifications
• Support production requirements through accurate machine programming and setup

BLUEPRINTS & PRODUCTION
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and production specifications
• Collaborate with engineering to interpret drawings for turret projects
• Discuss CNC programming requirements with designers, customers and outside vendors
• Produce fabricated components according to required specifications

QUALITY & EQUIPMENT
• Maintain precision and accuracy throughout the fabrication process
• Follow applicable quality standards during manufacturing
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance to support optimal performance
• Follow established safety protocols

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT
• Continue developing skills in CNC programming, CAD and other relevant technologies
• SolidWorks experience is a plus

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience related to CNC machine programming REQUIRED
• CNC programming capability REQUIRED
• Ability to set up and operate CNC fabrication equipment REQUIRED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints REQUIRED
• Ability to discuss CNC machine programming with designers, customers and outside vendors REQUIRED
• Ability to handle and move moderate to heavy items REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Ability to work onsite in Carol Stream, IL REQUIRED
• Local candidate REQUIRED
• Stable work history REQUIRED
• Compensation expectations within $61,000-$70,000 REQUIRED

PREFERRED
• Experience with Amada turret punch equipment, including the AE2510NT
• Turret-punch and/or laser-cutting metal-fabrication experience
• SolidWorks experience
