The Full Charge Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in managing comprehensive bookkeeping tasks within our construction company. This individual is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, handling accounts payable, and supporting tax preparation, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilizing QuickBooks as the primary accounting software, the bookkeeper manages a medium to high volume of transactions, contributing directly as an individual contributor to the organization’s financial integrity and budgeting processes.Pay Apps- AIA documents , Insurance 

 

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and invoice processing
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
• Process payroll accurately and timely using payroll software
• Prepare financial reports to support management decisions
• Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Monitor budgets and track financial transactions efficiently
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Strong skills in account reconciliation and financial reporting
• Familiarity with payroll software and payroll processing
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective time management and communication abilities
