Click on this link to catch a glimpse of what we do at Jill's House: &t=8s The Donor Relations Manager will, as part of the Advancement Team, be responsible for managing, promoting and deepening Jill’s House’s relationships with donors, ultimately leading to increased giving. S/he will develop a strategic approach to donor care that honors and effectively communicates the mission and vision of Jill’s House. S/he will also oversee and develop Jill’s House’s recurring giving program, Celebration Circle. Essential Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the Jill’s House Annual Giving program, including securing and fostering new donor relationships, and maintaining existing, non-major donor relationships. Steward and develop the Jill’s House Celebration Circle, including all efforts to secure new donors and further develop relationships with existing donors. Responsible for moving donors from one-time to regular (monthly, quarterly) donors, i.e. increasing the number of Celebration Circle donors. Lead Jill’s House’s donor move management strategy, resulting in increased donations. Cultivate a community of mission-driven investors centered on the vision, mission, and values of Jill’s House. Conduct research on existing donors, warm leads, and acquired names to determine and implement the most effective solicitation, development, and stewardship strategies. Plan a strategic donor development strategy for annual fund donors in the $100 - $9,999 giving range. Work with the Associate VP of Community Relations and the Advancement Operations Coordinator to develop strategic, intentional digital communications and appeals in support of the overall donor development strategy. Work with the Community Partnership and Volunteer Coordinator to turn volunteers into donors, and donors into volunteers. Coordinates additional aspects of the advancement program as needed. Cultivate a community of mission-driven investors centered on the vision, mission, and values of Jill’s House. Desired Skills and Qualifications Enthusiasm for the mission of Jill’s House. Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient with Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM Proven ability to increase the commitment of existing donors Demonstrated ability to think strategically Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on a variety of projects simultaneously, manage his/her time effectively to meet deadlines, and gracefully navigate competing priorities. A fervent personal faith in Jesus Christ, and a desire to fulfill roles and responsibilities in a manner that reflects His love and service. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in fundraising, specifically portfolio management Understanding and experience in nonprofit fundraising management and reporting.
