Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking tools for stress reduction, enhanced emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' stressors, challenges, and goals, crafting personalized mindfulness practices that meet their unique needs.

• Guide individuals in various mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, to support self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focusing on mindfulness practices, effective stress management, and resilience-building strategies.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to help clients address specific mental health concerns while promoting holistic growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to develop a multi-faceted treatment approach that incorporates mindfulness for optimal client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions provided, and tailored treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to deepen your expertise and effectiveness in MBSR and related therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve at Mental Oasis come from diverse backgrounds and may present with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and emotional difficulties. Your role will be essential in providing therapeutic support that empowers clients to manage their emotional well-being and navigate life’s challenges through the lens of mindfulness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong proficiency in integrating mindfulness into therapeutic interventions, enhancing the overall therapeutic experience for clients.

• Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster a calming and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
