This position is entirely remote, allowing you to engage with clients through a telehealth platform from the comfort of your home or any location of your choice. While our primary working hours run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to meet the diverse needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's history and determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience.

• Delivering evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Providing timely crisis intervention and support for individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to abuse, neglect, and significant life events that have led to psychological distress. Our focus is on addressing trauma's long-term effects, improving patients' quality of life, and helping them reclaim their autonomy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• The ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using EHR systems and various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with extensive experience in trauma-focused therapies or specialized credentials in EMDR or TF-CBT will be highly regarded. Familiarity with virtual therapy practices will also be beneficial in this remote role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
