Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to analyze clients' history and identify effective treatment approaches tailored to their unique needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery, resilience-building, and measurable outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients manage trauma responses, develop coping skills, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to create a comprehensive and integrated care plan for each client.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma, emotional responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support system.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and other traumatic events. Our clients often deal with significant emotional and psychological challenges such as PTSD and complex trauma. Your role will directly impact their healing process as you support them in processing their experiences and developing resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective, evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

• Composed demeanor in high-stress situations, with the ability to provide calm and rational support during crises.

• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with relevant technology.

• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Although a minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is required, candidates with more extensive backgrounds in trauma-informed therapies are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with specific modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT will be considered an asset in strengthening your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
