Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, enabling an in-depth understanding of each patient's trauma history.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address individual patient needs, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize innovative, evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive support system for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a swift response to urgent situations.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are trauma survivors, including individuals with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development within the field of trauma therapy. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
