The work hours are typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to identify the unique histories and needs of patients.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing informed methodologies.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support to patients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources for enhanced support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to ensure clarity in treatment progress and approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical counseling setting is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed modalities, and resilience-oriented treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to diverse populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide effective crisis intervention.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology for efficient practice management.

Preferred Experience\n

A background that includes specialized training in trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly beneficial, assisting in the effective treatment of complex trauma. Experience with specific modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT will be viewed favorably. Additionally, candidates should be well-versed in community resources to support clients beyond therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
