Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain your own schedule, with no minimum hours required, to accommodate your personal needs and those of your clients.

• Engage with clients through virtual counseling sessions, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to promote positive change.

• Receive compensation for any late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring that your time and expertise are valued.
\n
• Participate in monthly peer group meetings to enhance collaborative learning and professional development within our team.
\n
• Facilitate optional support groups, enhancing community connections while providing additional resources for clients.
\n
• Work closely with our dedicated Clinical Operations Teams to streamline client communications and care coordination.

• Encourage clients to explore community recovery support options like Alcoholics Anonymous or Smart Recovery, promoting a comprehensive approach to their recovery.

• Contribute to the organization's knowledge base by collaborating with our Content Manager on “Expert Insights.”

• Stay up-to-date with annual Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with costs covered by Branches of Growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor with Branches of Growth, you will interact primarily with clients seeking to modify their relationships with alcohol. Many clients may prefer a harm-reduction approach, which allows for options such as moderation rather than full abstinence. You will encounter diverse individuals with unique experiences and backgrounds, and your role will be crucial in providing tailored therapeutic support that aligns with their goals and preferences.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license to practice in California.

• Completion of relevant training, certifications, and/or hands-on experience in evidence-based treatment methods such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.

• Strong clinical engagement skills, with an emphasis on developing rapport and demonstrating empathy to effectively support client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
