Associate Director Global Vaccines Planning

Merck seeks an Associate Director to lead end-to-end supply planning for vaccine products across a global manufacturing network. The role manages demand forecasting, inventory targets, and coordination between manufacturing sites and commercial teams to ensure timely product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product supply planning and develop supply scenarios with revenue and inventory impact analysis
• Drive product inventory plan performance and profit plan targets across the supply chain
• Manage supply execution strategies for global source changes and regional allocations
• Coordinate with commercial and value chain management teams to integrate brand strategies into supply plans
• Address supply chain bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, life sciences, chemistry, biology, or engineering
• Minimum 7 years pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccine, or regulated industry experience
• Supply chain planning, operations, inventory planning, or demand planning experience
• Experience supporting end-to-end supply planning across manufacturing networks
• Proficiency with ERP systems, MRP systems, and master data governance
• Demonstrated ability coordinating with manufacturing, quality, commercial, and finance stakeholders
• Experience managing supply interruptions and inventory risks in regulated environments
