Administrative Assistant (Entry)

Job Title: Administrative Assistant Duration: Contract. Location: Stonington IL 62567 Pay range: $20/hr - $21/hr. Position Summary This entry-level administrative role involves providing essential clerical support to facilitate smooth office operations. The successful candidate will assist with scheduling, communication, and handling various administrative tasks, supporting managers and team members to ensure organizational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Provide information to callers and assist with inquiries Take and transcribe dictation as needed Perform general clerical duties to support daily business activities Assist with administrative and organizational tasks under supervision Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members Gather, monitor, and manage information to ensure timely follow-up Manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong planning and time management skills Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in administrative or business support roles Proven ability to schedule appointments, handle communication, and perform clerical duties Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with relevant office software and computer applications Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively Self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute tasks independently Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting managerial or executive-level staff Familiarity with standard office procedures and systems Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision and exercise judgment Strong attention to detail and result-oriented mindset Ability to adapt to changing priorities with flexibility Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
