Bookkeeping /Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping/ Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
- Strong communication skills in both English and Gujarati
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Preferred Skills
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Comfortable using a 10-key calculator and standard office equipment
