National Retail Key Account Manager

St. Agrestis, producers of the Phony Negroni, started making Italian-inspired spirits in 2017 before launching the non-alcoholic Phony Negroni in 2022. In three years, the Phony Negroni® has penetrated the United States with careful distribution partnerships and best practices, a keen focus on a strong on-premise foundation and grassroots marketing efforts. The company, while leading the category, knows they are just scratching the surface of the brand's potential. About the Role This role's singular focus is on retail key accounts. From regional to national groups, St. Agrestis is seeking an experienced hire to help place and successfully manage the brand's velocity at retail. This role is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities With the brand's initial focus on bars and restaurants, the retail demand and brand awareness has been built sustainably with a tremendous amount of deliberate focus on top tier accounts. The next phase of growth for the company will be to see the brand enter the vast world of retail chains and get the products onto shelves and into more homes. With adult non-alcoholic beverage becoming a major focus for large grocery retailers, this role will ensure the Phony Negroni® is placed at all the stores it belongs in and done so with the white glove attention it deserves. Once the Phony Negroni is placed, we expect the National Retail Key Account Manager to have experience in successfully activating retail promotions, visibility opportunities and samplings to assure the brand performs at the velocity that guarantees long‑lasting placements and category‑leading sales. To‑date, the Phony Negroni® has been a leader in volume per account and retail turns and St. Agrestis expects this leadership to be a continued part of the expanded retail distribution. Compensation Base salary: $130k – $150k. Compensation will be base salary with an ability to earn bonuses based on sales milestones. Requirements 5+ years sales experience 3+ years of key account management sales experience dealing directly with national and regional CPG food or beverage category buyers and decision makers 3+ years experience and success in navigating and implementing the various opportunities a product has within retail to accelerate sales velocity at national and regional retail chains Relationships with national accounts and category managers/buyers that align with the company's vision for retail growth Budget management experience with a track record of building CPG retail distribution profitably Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Sales and Business Development #J-18808-Ljbffr St. Agrestis
