Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sunshine Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during challenging situations and referring clients to additional resources when necessary.

• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engaging in continual learning and professional growth to stay updated with the latest therapeutic modalities and mental health interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population facing a myriad of challenges, including but not limited to alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, separation, and adjustment issues. Our patients include individuals, couples in crisis, and blended families seeking support, making your role crucial in facilitating healing and growth within these family structures.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation and a valid state license.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
