Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored in-home therapy and group sessions to clients aimed at addressing intricate mental health issues, using in-depth assessments to devise personalized treatment plans.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, including anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training, to help clients reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.

• Facilitate discussions that enhance decision-making skills for youths and caregivers, specifically targeting in-home behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive support network for clients and families.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to established deadlines.

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for improved client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, from mood disorders and anxiety to relationship conflicts and grief counseling. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in California is essential for this role.

• The candidate must be available for at least 5-10 hours of weekly therapy sessions during prime evening hours (4-7 PM) to cater to client schedules.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle is essential for conducting home-based therapy sessions as necessary.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting are mandatory prior to hiring.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience working in mental health settings with a focus on individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions.

• Proven experience in providing behavior support to clients with challenging behaviors is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or play therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
