AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS!for Full -Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for our Bronx residences.

DATE & TIME : Wednesday June 3rd ,2026  from 10AM-1PM

LOCATION : Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:

40HR Day shift:  3pm-11pm ...Drivers license Required

40HR Day Shift: 7am-3pm .....Drivers license Required

PAY RATE:  $20.00 - $20.36 per hour depending on position and driving status . Plus a very comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE!  See below for additional Benefit information.

Weekend availability needed for all positions listed!

• The oversight of all safety and health considerations
• Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
• Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
• Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• High school education/GED,  preferred.
