Patient Transportation Coordinator - Tanasbourne

The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual participant's needs. Responsibilities Coordinate transportation for PACE participants, including pickups and drop-offs to ensure timely and safe arrival to destinations. Operate or arrange for transportation in regular or specially equipped vehicles based on participant needs. Ensure compliance with state laws and organizational policies during transportation activities. Qualifications Required Qualifications Coursework/Training and Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire. Driving may be necessary as part of this role; caregivers must comply with all state driving laws and requirements and provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. 5 years of driving experience. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of driving experience, including driving a large passenger van or small bus. 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs. 1 year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $20.19 - $30.26. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
