This remote position allows you to provide crucial mental health services while enjoying flexibility in your work environment. You will play an integral role in fostering the mental well-being of our patients at the outpatient office located in beautiful Portland, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Your primary responsibility will involve assessing patients' biopsychosocial needs and creating tailored treatment plans. This may include case management, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling techniques.

• You will assist clients in completing necessary documentation for entitlement programs, supplemental insurance, and other assistance options, enhancing their access to needed services.
\n
• When patients require assistance with medication costs, you will guide them through accessing prescription cost support through community resources and partnership programs.

• As an advocate for patients, you will liaise with community agencies to ensure they receive adequate support and resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date digital records, writing reports, and preparing pertinent documentation will be critical to patient management and organizational compliance.

• Coordinating transportation assistance for clients when needed will be part of your role to ensure access to therapy and support.
\n
• Participation in team meetings and clinical discussions will be essential for effective case consultation and development of best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will encompass a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work with clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and transitional life events. Understanding the unique strengths and challenges of this population will help you provide effective interventions and support tailored to their individual situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.

• You must hold an active independent license: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a similar mental health counseling role.

• Experience working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of cultural competence in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitively set at $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
