Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting literacy growth for students as a contract Dyslexia Specialist serving one elementary and one high school campus near Arlington, TX. This onsite position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with students and staff through 5/27/27. Two positions are available, ideal for those who are passionate about reading intervention strategies and making a difference in academic outcomes for learners with dyslexia.

Qualifications:

• Valid General Teaching Endorsement is required
• Must hold at least one of the following: Reading Endorsement, Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), or Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner (LDP)
• Prior experience as a Reading Specialist or working with dyslexic students in a school environment is strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct dyslexia intervention and support to elementary and high school students
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans to boost reading and literacy skills
• Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate reading supports into the daily curriculum
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress to families and staff
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with state and district guidelines
