Key Responsibilities\n

  Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health needs using tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to create individualized care plans.

  Continually evaluate the effectiveness of mental health care strategies and interventions, adjusting treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.

  Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all treatment records, reports, and pertinent clinical information, following department protocols and state regulations.

  Collaborate with patients and their families to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that aligns with cultural awareness, patient goals, and addresses any special needs they may have.

  Actively coordinate referral options and maintain effective relationships with other clinicians or agencies to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  Serve as a mentor and educator for students, interns, and other health practitioners, contributing to their professional development and enhancing team performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing support to individuals and families who are coping with cancer and its emotional ramifications. The LCSW will connect with a diverse patient population, recognizing and adapting to the unique cultural and individual needs that come with each patient’s experiences and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

  Active State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually.
