Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs while considering their academic and social contexts.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help students develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and healthcare professionals to create an effective and coordinated care plan for each student.

• Educate students and families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and resources available to them.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to ensure a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in conjunction with the treatment team, focusing on student strengths and personal goals.

• Guide students and their families through the intricate mental health system, advocating for their rights and access to necessary services.

• Lead therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation classes, and assist in discharge planning to ensure successful transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and other behavioral challenges. Your role will involve fostering a safe, supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the principles of crisis intervention.

• Capability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus as part of your package.
