Executive Assistant

Executive AssistantReidy Law Office is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to work directly with the Owner and help create greater structure, focus, and execution throughout the Firm.This is not a traditional administrative assistant role. The right person will become a trusted right-hand who helps protect the Owner's time and attention, manages competing priorities, prepares him for meetings, keeps commitments from falling through the cracks, and turns conversations and ideas into organized next steps. You should enjoy taking incomplete information, asking good questions, determining what needs to happen next, and following through until the matter is actually complete.A successful Executive Assistant will gradually learn how he thinks, communicates, prioritizes, and makes decisions. As trust and demonstrated judgment grow, so will the level of responsibility and independence in the role. The long-term goal is for this person to become someone the Owner and team can rely on to know what is happening, what needs attention, and what should happen next.This is a full-time, primarily in-office position in Orland Park, Illinois. Because the role depends heavily on developing a close working relationship with the Owner, candidates should expect to work in the office. Additional flexibility may become possible over time based on performance, trust, and the needs of the Firm, but remote or hybrid work should not be expected at the outset.
