An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support school health services during the 2026-2027 academic year. Step into a vital role where your nursing expertise will help students thrive in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN/LVN licensure (required)
• Experience working with school-aged children or within a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional care in a pediatric or educational context
• Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and needs across two nearby school sites
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school nurses and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the school nurse with daily health office functions, including medication administration, first aid, and health monitoring for students throughout the school day
• Provide coverage and support as a substitute Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or 1:1 staff member when needed, including support to students with conditions such as diabetes
• Travel between two school sites as necessary (within approximately 10 minutes of each other), ensuring consistent, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate records of care provided in alignment with school and state requirements
• Foster a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for all students

This position offers full-time hours, approximately 35 hours per week, on a contract basis through the end of May 2027.
