Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license required
• School-based nursing experience preferred, though strong clinical skills in pediatric, community, or similar settings are valued
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between two nearby school sites as needed
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate medical care and support to students
• Willingness to serve as substitute 1:1 or PCA support for students when necessary

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the school nurse to assist with daily health office duties and deliver medical support for students
• Travel between two school sites (within a 10-minute drive) to meet district needs
• Act as a substitute PCA/1:1 support for two identified students if coverage is required, including support for a diabetic student under nurse guidance
• Maintain accurate health records and support a safe and healthy school environment
• Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff, students, and families regarding health needs
