Step into a vital contract nursing role supporting student wellness for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity offers both variety and purpose—providing care and stability for young learners across two nearby school buildings (just a short drive apart). You’ll play a key role alongside the school nurse, managing the health office and stepping in as a 1:1 or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) as needed. Your adaptability and compassion will make an immediate difference in the daily lives of students.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid, active LPN or LVN license
• Experience working in a school setting (preferred)
• Reliable, flexible approach for rotating between two sites
• Skilled in daily health office procedures and documentation
• Comfortable offering basic assessments, medication administration, and episodic care
• Willingness to provide substitute 1:1 or PCA support for students with medical needs
• Strong communication and a collaborative spirit

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver daily health support and intervention for students as assigned
• Assist the school nurse with health office operations, documentation, and care plans
• Support students with chronic health needs, including diabetes management (in collaboration with the school nurse)
• Step into the PCA or 1:1 coverage role if primary personnel are absent, ensuring continuity of care
• Navigate between two school sites (within 10 minutes of each other) as required by the district

This contract position offers 35 hours per week and the chance to create a positive impact in a supportive school environment through May 2027.
