Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to general medical and post-surgical patients on a 10-bed Med/Surg unit with a 5:1 patient-to-RN ratio.
- Perform routine and complex assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient responses.
- Document care and interventions in the electronic medical record; communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Facilitate admissions, timely discharges, and rapid patient turnover while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care; recognize and escalate clinical changes promptly.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, admission-focused unit and communicate clearly; capable of working independently
- Willingness to provide all required documentation: resume with minimal gaps, skills checklist, references, certification cards, Nursys license verification; load demographic information into the profile
