Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) – Atlanta, GA. Start date 10/05/2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,651–$1,726. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: Night, 2x3 schedule. This travel assignment occurs in a hospital setting on a 10-bed Med/Surg admission unit serving general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed admission Med/Surg unit for general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures; manage high patient turnover on a fast-paced unit.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, manage IV therapy, wound care, and assist with procedures as assigned; respond promptly to patient needs.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges; coordinate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff.
- Promote patient safety and comfort; assist with mobility, activities of daily living, and patient education; communicate updates to families as appropriate.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans; uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain a professional, independent practice on a unit with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio; comply with shift requirements and holiday coverage when scheduled.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg RN experience
- Ability to work night shift on a fast-paced admission unit
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Meet profile and documentation requirements: resume with minimal gaps, skills checklist, references, certification card, Nursys license verification; load demographic info and badge photo
