Step into an engaging role supporting young learners as a Physical Therapist at an early childhood center. This part-time position is designed for a skilled PT seeking flexibility and a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in a school-based setting. You will primarily conduct diagnostic evaluations, recommend services, and assist with overflow during a fellow PT’s maternity leave. The assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through December 1st, offering up to 20 flexible hours per week—ideal for those who prefer mornings and want to accommodate other commitments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license (please include your license number when applying)
• Previous experience as a school-based PT, especially at the early childhood level, is highly valued
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and service-recommendation skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site (no virtual or remote options available)
• Clear communication skills for documentation and interactions with families and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students requiring PT services
• Make informed recommendations regarding therapeutic needs and services
• Handle a manageable overflow caseload in addition to diagnostic duties
• Collaborate with educators and other therapists to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
