Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive physical examinations on patients presenting with a variety of acute health issues.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic healthcare conditions, delivering high-quality patient care.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and laboratory tests, to come to informed conclusions regarding patient health.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and healthcare goals.
• Administer medications, therapies, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory protocols.
• Maintain meticulous medical records through electronic health record systems, particularly utilizing ICD-9 coding for documentation accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Provide thorough patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions, empowering patients to take active roles in their health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be caring for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients, each presenting unique medical needs. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a valid license to practice in New York.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred.
