Position Overview

Realign Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation center located in Sayreville, New Jersey. This full-time role offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to deliver comprehensive care while maintaining a work-life balance. The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Realign Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive one-on-one evaluations and assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Designing and implementing therapeutic exercise programs and interventions that encompass a wide range of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management.
• Regularly monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including engaging in case discussions and sharing insights on patient treatment methodologies.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements using our electronic health records system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic illnesses, and athletes seeking performance enhancement. You will play a vital role in facilitating their journey to recovery and functional independence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a relevant Master's degree is preferred.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, showcasing the ability to handle a variety of patient conditions and treatment plans. Anti-gravity treadmills or aquatic therapy experience is a plus but not mandatory.
