Wellness Works Physical Therapy, PC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation center located in Sayreville, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Directly assess and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal function based on each client's specific needs.
• Oversee the implementation of care plans by supervising and mentoring physical therapy assistants to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations utilizing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities, providing a clear picture of the client's condition.
• Evaluate the home environment for rehabilitation potential and provide recommendations to enhance client independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and physical modalities, ensuring effective and safe application to promote recovery.
• Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes in condition and adjusting treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
• Prepare and maintain thorough clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes to ensure proper documentation for quality assurance and compliance.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate and strategize the overall treatment approach for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on physical therapy techniques, the use of assistive devices, and strategies to maintain and enhance functional mobility.
• Remain accessible to fellow team members to provide guidance and support during client treatment sessions.
• Complete other duties and assignments as necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of Wellness Works.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with at Wellness Works encompass a broad spectrum of demographics and clinical needs. You will provide care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other mobility-related challenges. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active and valid physical therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
