Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness, located in Metuchen, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our onsite team in our Rehabilitation Facility. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with diverse orthopedic conditions, utilizing their medical history and specific assessments to inform diagnostic and treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting protocols based on patient presentations and evolving health care guidelines.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge plans meticulously, ensuring compliance with organizational, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Engage in regular consultations with other healthcare professionals to discuss cases, share insights, and elevate the quality of patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, recovery expectations, and preventative strategies, fostering a sense of empowerment and participation in their healing journey.
• Maintain ongoing communication with co-workers, patients, and third-party payors to ensure clarity and continuity of care.
• Participate in facility meetings and training sessions as required, ensuring that you stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with an array of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is vital in guiding these individuals towards recovery, enhancing their physical capabilities, and improving their quality of life. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state licensure as a physical therapist in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association as a Healthcare Provider.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for individuals with at least two years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on orthopedics. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and evidence-based practice methodologies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
