You will work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of other therapists, case managers, and psychiatrists, creating a collaborative environment that emphasizes holistic care for our clients.Key Responsibilities\nAs a licensed mental health therapist with Valor Center, your daily responsibilities will include:\n\n Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to ascertain the mental health needs of clients, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.\n Providing therapeutic services in individual, group, and family settings, using a variety of methodologies to effectively address a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.\n Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure cohesive care that addresses all aspects of the clients’ well-being.\n Offering crisis intervention support during acute emotional or psychological distress, demonstrating your expertise and empathetic approach to help clients navigate their most challenging moments.\n Engaging in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma, contributing to the overall improvement of community mental health.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\nOur clients encompass a broad demographic, reflecting the rich cultural diversity within the Lakewood community.
