Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Neuro Behavioral Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of couples and family systems to identify issues and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitating both joint sessions and individual therapy sessions to address a spectrum of mental health concerns.
\n
• Providing specialized therapeutic interventions for family-related challenges, such as communication difficulties, grief and loss, and adjustment to separation and divorce.
\n
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies to improve patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a wide range of issues affecting couples and families, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol abuse and its impact on family dynamics

• Experiences of physical and psychological abuse within relationships

• Grief and loss, helping families navigate their healing journey

• Conflict resolution among family members and siblings

• Handling cut-offs and estrangements between family members

• Job-related stress and its effects on family life

• Managing medical issues and blended family challenges, including remarriage

• Adjustments during separation and divorce

• Facilitating mother/daughter relationship improvements

• Enhancing overall communication skills within families

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
