Uplift Hub Social Work is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide remote outpatient mental health services from our Lowell, Massachusetts-based community center. Work Environment\n

In this role, you will have the flexibility of remote work while engaging directly with clients through our telehealth platform. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to ascertain the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet individual client needs, therapeutic goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their well-being.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and seek opportunities for professional development.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a varied population facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. These clients include individuals from challenging backgrounds, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. You will play a critical role in offering therapeutic support that helps empower them to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
