Bookkeeper

We are seeking an accurate, dependable, and self-directed Bookkeeper with QuickBooks expertise to join our team on a temporary-to-hire basis. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping, ensure ledger integrity, perform routine account reconciliations, and support period-end closing activities.

This position offers a clear conversion path to a permanent, full-time role after a evaluation period based on performance, accuracy, and attendance.

salary: $25 - $28 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks (Online / Desktop), including general ledger maintenance and chart of accounts management
• Process AP invoices, prepare vendor payment runs, issue client invoices, monitor aging reports, and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Perform monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts, credit card accounts, and petty cash logs to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Assist with or manage full payroll runs, process employee expense reimbursements, and ensure accurate payroll accounting entries
• Generate monthly income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and custom financial summaries for leadership review
• Organize financial data for 1099 processing, sales tax filings, and year-end CPA tax preparation
