Altec Roofing is building an elite sales team in the high velocity South Florida Market full of new development, aging roofs and the ever-present threat of storms. All this requires elite, high impact sales leadership. As our Principal Salesperson/Sales Manager you will set the tone by your own success to drive your entire team to top performance. You don’t just want a seat at the table, you want to run the table. The right person for this role won’t just fill a position so much as they’ll define our sales process and culture for the modern era. We seek a singularly motivated player-coach who is as much a closer as a leader, who maintains full accountably of their own aggressive book of business while building and developing a high-performance sales team. Key Responsibilities Close sales Run appointments, build your pipeline, and stay active in the field, maintaining an aggressive book of business. Build your team Recruit, train, and coach reps using ride-along activities, call reviews, and ongoing development. Manage team performance Track close rates, pipeline, margins; know where you stand at all times Drive activity Generate leads through canvassing, prospecting, and storm-related efforts Maintain pricing discipline Protect margins and ensure deals make sense for the business Set the tone Be the standard for how we interact with customers and represent the brand Requirements 3–6 years of field sales experience in home services, roofing, or remodeling Proven ability to close, conduct needs assessment, handle objections, and solution selling Familiarity with construction contracts, financing, and insurance/claims processes CRM proficiency; mobile experience preferred A natural leader who can develop others without giving up personal production Valid driver's license and the ability to be in the field daily Uncapped earning potential with our competitive commission structure - your performance directly determines your income!
