Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, and develop tailored treatment plans that are sensitive to their specific needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques as needed based on client responses.

• Educate and support clients and families regarding mood disorders, treatment alternatives, coping mechanisms, and self-care practices to empower them in their healing journey.
\n
• Monitor client progress diligently; modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to deliver integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Stay current with advancements in mood disorder research and treatment methodologies to enhance client outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and remain informed about organizational updates and client needs.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs while working to reduce stigma associated with mental health treatments.

Qualifications\n

• Active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
