Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment plans both within the facility and through external referrals.

• Deliver in-service training on mental health topics to the medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance team understanding and intervention strategies.

• Respond to and manage mental health crises, including working to de-escalate situations efficiently and compassionately.

• Participate in commitment hearings as necessary, providing expert opinions and recommendations based on assessments.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, setting measurable goals and regularly reviewing progress through structured documentation.

• Maintain meticulous documentation for all patient interactions while ensuring compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards.

• Validate previous mental health histories of clients by contacting prior care providers and confirming prescribed medications.
\n
• Compile and submit both regular and special reports to support organizational operations and enhance care delivery methods.

• Engage with nursing staff to facilitate seamless referrals for clients post-treatment, ensuring continuity of care.
